How Do These New Speed Cameras Work?
Unlike traditional speed traps, which catch you at specific points, this new system calculates your average speed between two locations. If you exceed the limit, you’ll automatically receive a fine—no more sudden braking when you see a camera!
Where Will These Cameras Be Installed?
The pilot project will start on the busiest highways:
KL-Karak Expressway (a favorite for East Coast travelers)
North-South Expressway (Malaysia’s most used highway)
