Peugeot 2008 Discounted For RM21,500, Now RM111,888

Following the Peugeot 3008’s rebate last November, Stellantis Malaysia has just announced a RM21.5K discount on its younger brother, the Peugeot 2008. The rebate brings the sticker price of the SUV down to RM111,888 from the previous RM133,388.

Auspicious numbers aside (111 and 888 for prosperity and good luck), the lowered price also comes with a 7-year warranty coverage. If that isn’t sufficient, Stellantis Malaysia is also offering a 5-year Service Inclusive Programme for an additional RM10,000. The programme includes the coverage of both parts and labour costs for 10 services across 5 years.

The Peugeot 2008 is a compact SUV that’s powered by a 1.2 liter PureTech turbocharged inline-3 engine outputting 130PS and 230Nm of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels via a 6-speed automatic transmission, launching it from 0-100km/h in 10.3 seconds with a top speed of 199km/h.



Buyers may be tempted by the French SUV’s design, particularly the angular design with the ‘triple-claw design’ of the headlights. The inside also gets a considerable amount of goodies, including a 3D-effect driver cluster and a 7 inch infotainment that has Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
