2025 Volkswagen Touareg R-Line Gets A RM69.3K - 70K Price Drop

Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) has announced a significant price reduction for the Volkswagen Touareg R-Line since its Malaysian debut in March 2024.

The luxury SUV is now available at RM384,972 OTR without insurance, accompanied by a standard 2-year, unlimited-mileage warranty. For those seeking extended coverage, the Volkswagen Assurance Package (VAP) is offered as a RM17,300 option, bringing the total to RM402,272. This package extends the warranty to 5 years and includes a 5-year maintenance plan.

This pricing adjustment is quite the discount for what you get, the Touareg was priced at RM454,272 without VAP and RM472,272 with it. Customers now benefit from savings of RM69,300 and RM70,000 respectively.

VW hasn't changed the Touareg R-Line, with it still being powered by a 3.0-litre TSI V6 petrol engine delivering 340 PS and 450 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and Volkswagen's 4Motion all-wheel-drive system, giving it a 0 to 100 km/h sprint time of 6 seconds and a top speed electronically limited to 250 km/h.



For the exterior, you get self-levelling air suspension IQ, light HD LED matrix headlights, and 20-inch "Braga" two-tone alloy wheels, all of which come standard. Inside, the cabin is fitted with a 12.3-inch digital instrument display and a 15-inch infotainment touchscreen that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Additional features include a Qi wireless charging pad and a 13-speaker, 730-watt Dynaudio Consequence sound system.

In the safety department, driver safety and assistance are prioritized with the inclusion of the IQ.Drive suite. With it offering autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go functionality, lane centring assist, blind-spot monitoring, front and rear cross-traffic alert with auto braking, park assist, a driver attention monitor, and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
