Who is eligible for the SKDS 2.0 diesel subsidy refund?

The SKDS 2.0 diesel subsidy is available exclusively to owners of logistics vehicles whose applications under the program have been approved by the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) by June 30, 2024. Additionally, applicants must not have yet received their SKDS 2.0 fleet cards.

How to claim the SKDS 2.0 diesel subsidy refund

Here's a step-by-step guide:

1. Ensure your application is approved:  Verify that your application for the SKDS 2.0 program has been approved by the KPDN by June 30, 2024.
2. Submit fleet card applications: If you haven't already, submit your applications for SKDS 2.0 fleet cards to participating fuel station operators by July 15, 2024.

What can be claimed under the SKDS 2.0 diesel subsidy refund?

Successful applicants can be reimbursed for the price difference between the current market price of diesel and the subsidized SKDS 2.0 rate. As of July 1, 2024, the current market price is around RM3.35 per liter, while the subsidized SKDS 2.0 rate is RM2.15 per liter.

Refund limitations

• The refund is applicable for diesel purchases made since June 10, 2024.
• There's a monthly limit on the claimable volume of diesel fuel. The specific limit will be determined by the Ministry and outlined in the program schedule.
