John Cena trades up: from FK8 to FL5, the cenation leader sticks with Honda's hot hatch
WWE Superstar and Hollywood A-lister John Cena is known for many things, but his love for high-performance hatchbacks might surprise some. Recently, Cena proved his dedication to the Honda Civic Type R by trading in his previous model for the brand new 2024 FL5.
Cena, who famously daily drives his cars, took his 2021 FK8 Civic Type R for a service visit at Wesley Chapel Honda in Florida. There, it seems the allure of the new FL5 was too strong to resist. In a social media post, Cena reportedly said he "fell in love" with the 2024 model and promptly upgraded to a Championship White FL5.

This isn't the first time Cena has turned heads with his car choice. Unlike many celebrities opting for flashy SUVs, Cena's loyalty to the practical yet powerful Civic Type R speaks to his enthusiast side.
For those interested, Cena's previously owned Boost Blue FK8 with approximately 10,560 kilometers on the odometer is now part of Wesley Chapel Honda's inventory. Who knows, maybe it'll end up in the hands of another enthusiastic driver or even become a collector's item.
One thing's for sure, while you might not always see John Cena himself (you know, the whole "you can't see me" thing), his new ride with its aggressive wing and hood scoop will be hard to miss cruising the streets.
