Tesla Model 3 Facelift Officially Launched In Malaysia

The refreshed Model 3, known as Project Highland, boasts enhanced aerodynamics and an updated exterior. It features slimmer lines, new LED lights, and the "Tesla" name at the rear. Two additional colours are available. The Model 3 is 1,765kg, 4,720mm long, 2,089mm wide, and 1,441mm high, contrasting with the Model Y's 4,750mm length, 1,623mm height, and 1,920mm width.

With optional 19-inch "Nova" wheels, the Model 3 Rear-Wheel Drive is estimated to achieve around 513 km on the WLTP cycle, while the Long Range (LR) version is set to reach approximately 629 km. Impressive acceleration figures include a 0-100 km/h time of 6.1 seconds for the RWD variant and a brisk 4.4 seconds for the LR all-wheel-drive model.
The Model 3 Rear-Wheel Drive can achieve 513 km with 19-inch "Nova" wheels, while the Long Range (LR) model covers an impressive 629 km. Acceleration is remarkable, with the RWD hitting 0-100 km/h in 6.1 seconds and the LR AWD in 4.4 seconds. Inside, a cozy atmosphere prevails with a wraparound design, enhanced ambient lighting, and acoustic glass for a quieter cabin. The 15.4-inch central screen retains its space with slimmer bezels, accompanied by an 8.0-inch rear display. The LR model offers 17 speakers, while the RWD comes with nine and a microphone upgrade for better call quality.

The Model 3 Rear-Wheel Drive is RM189,000, while the Long Range Dual Motor All-Wheel Drive is RM218,000. The base colour is Pearl White Multi-Coat, with additional colours for a fee: Solid Black (RM5,000), Deep Blue Metallic (RM5,000), Stealth Grey (RM7,500), and Ultra Red (RM11,000).

Tesla Malaysia plans late 2023 deliveries, with a non-refundable RM1,000 order fee. The Model 3 Facelift signals Tesla's electric vehicle progress with enhanced style and exciting road ahead.
