Tokyo Auto Salon 2023 Coming to Kuala Lumpur This June

The renowned and highly anticipated motor show makes its first-ever visit to Malaysia from June 9-11 at the Malaysia International Trade & Exhibition Centre (MITEC) in Kuala Lumpur.

Those familiar with the Tokyo Auto Salon (TAS), will know it for its impressive range of unique automobiles showcasing fascinating car mods accompanied by the ever so popular Japanese Race Queens. It takes place in multiple countries every year, with Singapore in 2013 being the closest location in previous years. Local fans can rejoice knowing they won't have to get on a plane to get their JDM fix.

Riduwan Matni, the CEO of event organiser MUSE Group made the announcement of after the signing ceremony between San Ei Corporation and MUSE group.

“We are delighted to secure the exclusive license to the Tokyo Auto Salon and it is an honour to be shortlisted by San Ei Corporation, the owner of the Tokyo Auto Salon intellectual property, to be their partner outside Japan. Tokyo Auto Salon Kuala Lumpur will be the only licensed franchise directly under the brand in the world. The event will lend a helping hand in re-invigorating the aftermarket industry, hard hit by the pandemic,” states Riduwan.

The Singapore edition attracted over 70,000 visitors and that number is expected to more than double in KL this year. You will be able to purchase tickets online at RM40 per day. Enjoy a 10% discount if you purchase tickets before the event. Further ticketing details will be announced at a later date.
