2025 Porsche Cayenne S E-Hybrid Coupe Launched in Malaysia: RM729K for 519PS CKD SUV
The facelifted Porsche Cayenne S E-Hybrid Coupe PHEV has just launched in Malaysia, this marks the second locally assembled (CKD) Porsche model, with an asking price of RM728k that includes taxes and duties but excludes OTR fees and insurance.
This will also be the first PHEV that’s produced by Sime’s Motor facility in Kulim and Kedah, where they’ll be exported to Thailand. The new facelifted Cayenne gets a coupe-like roofline, with it sloping from the front to the back.
Under the hood, the Cayenne gets a 3.0 liter turbocharged V6 engine that outputs 353PS and 500Nm of torque. In conjunction with an additional electric motor (171PS and 450Nm), it brings the total power output to 519PS and 750 Nm, allowing this behemoth to run a 0-100kmph time of 4.7 seconds and a top speed of 276kmph.
Speaking of the electric motor, it’s powered by a 25.9 kWh battery that allows the SUV to run on pure EV mode with a range of 90km.
As for standard equipment, it gets Porsche’s Active Suspension Management (PASM) that includes adaptive air suspension that has two-valve, two-chamber technology. Buyers also get high definition LED headlights, a GT style steering wheel, a Sports Chrono package, 20-inch Cayenne S design wheels, as well as a Bose sound system.
The kit also includes 4-zone climate control with an ioniser, a 12.6 inch curved digital cluster display, a 12.3 inch infotainment system that has Porsche Communication Management, 14-way powered comfort seats with memory function, and electric roll-up sunshades.
The interior can be optioned with either Black or Bordeoux Red leather upholstery, with Porsche crests being woven onto the headrests. Paint jobs include Carrara White Metallic, Chromite Black Metallic, and Dolomite Silver Metallic at no extra cost.
